Chandler, Jr./Director of Planning~ <br /> SUBJECT: 701 Planning Grant <br /> DATE: September 18, 1980 <br /> <br />In April of this year the Cabarrus County Planning Department <br />submitted an application, to the North Carolina Department of <br />Natural Resources and Co~mnunity Development Department, for a <br />701 Planning Grant. <br /> <br />Cabarrus County has received notification that it was one of <br />thirty-three applicants to be awarded a grant for this year. <br />The work program is a continuation of the last year's work <br />program - the formulation of a Property Identification System. <br /> <br />The total grant monies are in the amount of $10,640.00 ($5,600, <br />State match - $3,000 local match with the balance to be provided <br />as in-kind services. <br /> <br />At this time a budget amendment is requested to provide the <br />County's share amounting to $3,000.00. <br /> <br />Thank you for your assistance in this matter. <br /> <br />pds <br /> <br /> <br />
