Chandler, Jr./Director of Planning ' <br /> <br /> RE: Abandonment Request from The North Carolina <br /> Department of Transportation <br /> <br /> DATE: October 6, 1980 <br /> <br /> In regular session of the September 8, 1980 Commissioners' <br /> meeting, the Board of County Con~issioners approved the <br /> abandonment of 120 feet of unpaved right-of-way knmm as <br /> "Jennie Linn Drive" (SR #2190) in Kannapolis. The entire <br /> length of the roadway is shown on the stane maps as 1,003 <br />~_feet with ~_83 feet existing only on maps and not ac~ual%~ <br /> cut and used for traffic. <br /> <br /> Therefore, the North Carolina Deparnment of Transportation <br /> is requesting the the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br /> approve the abandonment of this remaining portion of 883 feet <br /> of "Jennie Linn Drive", thereby allowing the state to correct <br /> their mapping of the area. <br /> <br /> If further information or clarification is requested, please <br /> advise. <br /> <br /> Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. <br /> <br /> pds <br /> <br /> <br />
