We plan to have one of our participants <br /> here in the office to cover both offices while we are at the meeting. <br /> <br /> Pat Locktear, our Training Counselor, has stated that she will be leaving <br /> the middle of October. I plan to choose a replacement in the next couple of <br /> weeks. <br /> <br /> Holly Harris, a field representative from DCE in Raleigh, monitored our <br />program on August 19th & 20th. We received a report of her findings on <br />August 30th. There were no problem areas, and according to her report, "Your <br />program seems to be functioning well and at an acceptable level.". <br /> <br /> YOUT~ORK <br /> <br />PAYROLL: <br />Number of participants receiving checks in August 141 <br />Amount of August payroll* $58,571.76 <br />Number of administrative personnel (as of 8/29/80) 4 full-time <br />Amount of administrative costs** $ 4,675.11 <br /> <br /> The average cost per participant to <br /> administrate the program $ 33.16 <br /> <br />COb~IENTS: <br /> <br /> There were 3 part-time workers employed for the Summer Program: Christine <br />Barrier filled an open secretarial position on August 1st, Anna Bonds left on <br />August 8th, and Pat Hough ].eft on the 22nd. <br /> <br /> The Summer Program officially ends on September 30th, but the majority of <br />participants have returned to school. There are currently 2 people enrolled <br />through the end of September, the rest were terminated when school opened. <br />The program served a total of 147 participants this summer. <br /> <br /> There are 65 participants in an early start up program whicb will end <br />September 30th. The Drop Out program has 6 participants enrolled through the <br />end of the month. <br /> <br /> Joe Mingo has applied for an In-School program to begin October 1, !980 - <br />September 30, 1981, with a total enrollment of 61, and a Drop Out program with <br />8 participants. Contract negotiations will be held in Raleigh the 18th of <br /> <br /> <br />
