-2- <br /> <br /> inform counties prior to asking for proposals to operate programs. <br /> <br /> Assisted Cabarrus County staff in designing a project and applying for increased <br /> funds. <br /> <br /> Family Plannin~ <br /> <br />Met with regional consumer group to discuss local advisory groups using <br />Gaston County's as an example, and mec with the Community Education and <br />Legislation Committee to review recent legislation. <br /> <br />Processed 3rd Quarter Expenditure reports and checked to see if they had over <br />expended any line items, and submitted budget revisions. <br /> <br />Will hold a workshop on fee collection, in Charlotte in early June. <br /> <br />Title ~Y <br /> <br />Staff assisted County DSSs prepare their annual Title ~( plans. This work was <br />based on the priority setting done with staff and DSS boards in February and <br />March, and on the sampling of DSS records to project demand and cost for <br />next year. · <br /> <br />Staff is now working on improving DSS client and cost information system and <br />social services grantsmanship information and will be meeting with all counties <br />to set up a work program for the next year. <br /> <br /> <br />
