WHEREAS, Section 153A-241 of the North Carolina General Statutes <br />authorizes the Board of County Commissioners to permanently <br />close a public road after having held a public hearing on the <br />matter; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing on the matter of closing Wolf Meadow <br />School Road (formerly State Road # 1535) was held at 10:00 <br />o'clock A.M. on November 13, 1979, after due notice thereof <br />was published, posted and mailed as required by statute; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this Board of County Com- <br />missioners is satisfied that the closing of Wolf Meadow School <br />Road (formerly State Road ~ 1535) is in the best interests of <br />the public and no property owner in the vicinity of said road <br />is being deprived of a reasonable means of ingress and egress <br />and that the road is hereby permanently closed; <br /> <br />FURTHER RESOLVED, that a certified copy of this Resolution <br />be duly recorded in the Cabarrus County Public Registry. <br /> <br /> <br />
