C. <br /> <br />Dear Board Members: <br /> <br /> A vacancy exists on the Board of Con~nissioners for <br />the Royal Oaks Sanitary Disfrict as a result of the <br />resignation of Board Member Elmer L. Poole. Mr. Poole <br />resigned~because he has moved outside the district boundries. <br /> North Carolina General Statutes section 130-127 provides <br />that vacancies shall be ~illed until the next general election <br />by appointment made by the Board of County commissioners. <br /> The Board of Commissioners of t~e Royal Oaks Sanitary <br />District recommends that you appoint Mr. William Don Evans <br />of 2707 Penn. Ave. Kannap~l~,'-~-~i-~l t-~ u-~ir~-ter~ <br />of Mr. Elmer Poole.
