Please let <br /> me knoW before our next meeting, on January 16, ~1980, who your <br /> Board chooses to be your 1980 delegate. <br /> <br /> You may also wish to designate one or more alternate delegates. <br /> If you designate more than one, please indicate who is first <br /> alternate, second alternate, etc. <br /> <br /> -I've attached a list of the 1979 Delegates. There were six <br /> Council of Governments meetings in 1979. The number beside each <br /> Delegate's name indicates the number of those meetings attended <br /> by the Delegate or alternate in 1979. <br /> <br />2) Executive Committee Membershi~ <br /> <br /> Delegates from County governments are automatically members <br /> of the Executive Committee. <br /> <br /> Ail the municipal delegates in each County choose one municipal <br /> delegate from their number to serve on the Executive Committee. <br /> (In Mecklenburg County, Charlotte's delegate is automatically am <br /> Executive Committee member. The other five municipal delegates <br /> choose one of their number as an EXecutive Committee member). <br /> <br /> <br />
