C. 28025 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Bonds: <br /> <br /> The Jury Comnntesioners have completed their work as of November <br />21, 1979 and have performed their duties according to G.So Chapter 9 <br />(Ch. 218, S.L. 1967). We are turning o~er the list of jurors for the <br />years 1980 and 1981 which numbers 5,871o <br /> <br /> We have proceeded as prescribed by the law according to'the fol- <br />lowing steps: <br /> <br /> 1. Every 14th name was selected from esch township from the <br /> tax listing books° ( Source: Tax Computer ) <br /> <br /> 2. Every 8th name was selected from each precinct from the <br /> voter registration books. ( Source: Voter Computer ) <br /> <br /> 3. Each member of the Jury Commission checked the raw lists <br /> to remove persons deceased, or known to be disqualified <br /> under ~he statutes. <br /> <br /> 4, Files were purged of all names of persons having been cal- <br /> led or served as jurors during 1978 and 1979. <br /> <br /> 5.Cards of the jurors called during 1978 and 1979 were refiled <br /> in alpbabetioal order. <br /> <br /> 6.The computer list was returned to the Data Frocessing Depart~ <br /> ment'to be transferred to cards. . <br /> <br /> <br />
