The new committee is expected to pursue an <br /> active role in program planning as well as in detet~mining how funds will be <br /> allocated for Region E Balance-of-State (BOS) CETA programs. <br /> <br /> It is importanC that persons who are actively interested in Manpwer and able <br /> to attend meetings be chosen to serve on the Committee. Stronger guidelines <br /> now stipulate that a quorum, consisting of a majority of active voting members, <br /> mdst be present in order for action to be taken. <br /> <br /> Cabarrus County will be repcesented by three members in selected categories.
