THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> FOR <br /> THE COUNTY OF CABARRUS, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br /> The Board of Commissioners for the County of <br />Cabarrus, North Carolina, met in regular session at the <br />~ourthouse in Concord, North Carolina, the regular place of <br />meeting, at 9:$0 . o'clock, ~by 4 , 1978. <br /> <br /> Present: Chairman ~ presiding, and <br />Commissioners <br /> <br /> Absent: <br /> <br /> Also Present: <br /> <br /> Commissioner introduced the follow- <br />ing resolution which was read: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING IN PRINCIPLE THE PHILIP <br /> NORRIS INDUSTRIAL AND POLLUTION CONTROL PROJECTS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS: The Cabarrus County Industrial Facili- <br />ties and Pollution Control Financing Authority has agreed to <br />assist in the financing under the North Carolina Industrial <br />~nd Pollution Facilities Financing Act (the Act) of an <br />industrial and a pollution control project by Philip Morris, <br />Incorporated, a Virginia corporation, in connection with a <br />proposed cigarette manufacturing plant to be constructed <br />near Concord in Cabarrus County and indicated that agreement <br />by the completion of Inducement Agreements between the <br />parties dated as of March 28, 1978; <br /> <br /> <br />
