These results willbe combined with an analysis of* the records of <br />that year, .to provide some suggestions.and guidance for this year's projects <br />and for the preparation of next year's plan. <br /> <br />Title XX Planning Assistance <br /> <br />The staff is writing a description of last year's effort to assist departments of <br />social services in using the DHR/NC State Model for Title XX planning. After <br />suggesting ways to improve the process and the timing of the products~ staff will <br />again be available to DSSs or the county upon request. <br /> <br />Major work items to get underway early in the year include: gathering service <br />level information about other key agencies, updating and collecting data on the <br />needs and problems in each county, and establishing the work program to carry <br />out the planning process early enough to be h~cluded in the budget requests <br />county government next year. <br /> <br />If you have any questions or suggestions ~bout Human Services programs or things <br />you'd like to see addressed, please call Chuck Chorak, Haman Services Director, <br />372-2416~ <br /> <br /> <br />
