McGinnis, County Manager
Cabarrus County Courthouse
Concord, North Carolina 28025

SUBJECT: Renaming Andrews Avenue

Dear Mr. McGinnis,

Mrs. Johnny Harrington wants a street sign installed on her
street (Andrews Avenue) at Rock Hill Church Road. Andrews
Avenue is a duplicate street name and I have explained to her
that the name will have to be changed before a sign can be
installed. She has chosen the name "Travis Lane" as her first
choice of a new name. Travis is not a~--d~ica e~name and is
acceptable for adding to our Master List of Road Names.

Enclosed is a petition that she has signed requesting the name
change. A copy of the map showing Andrews is attached to the
petition. Andrews is not a secondary road.

As required by G.S.153A-240, the Board of Commissioners needs
to set a time,
~~ease let me know the desires of the Commlsszoners.

Sincerely,
.~C~glq'NING DEPARTMENT
W.
