Box 707
Concord, North Carolina 28025

Dear ~. ~Ginuis:

I enjoyed speaking with you recently and trust that the following
information is satisfactory.

TAL is a private licensed Animal Dealer which is located'on seven
and one-half acres in Orangs County. l~e have fou~ modern kennels
with a capacity of 129 runs plus 25 large outside runs. Our
buildings ars heated and have automatic waterers. Our consulting
veterinarian is Dr. A. S. Colvin.

In addition to being a licensed animal dealer, we house research
animals for Becton Dickinson and Company and have done so for six
years, ge also house the Orange County pound.

Our animals go to the VA Hospitals in Durham, N. C. and Richmond,
Virginia, Duke ~niversity, and East Carolina University.

~e anticipate our business to expand over the coming year, and thus,
our anticipated need for dogs should be approximately 2800 animals,
perhaps more. The income that Cabarrus County could derive fhom our
purchases, at a current price of $3.00 would be a boost to your budget.

Currently wo obtain animals from Beaufort, Craven, Durham, Edgecomb,
Forsyth, ~ash, Orange, Randolph, and Vance Counties.

Any references or additional information that you may need will be
furnished upon request. ~e also welcome your County Yeterinarian or
any representative to visit and inspect our facilities.
