C. Each such owner or operator may, within 24 hours of the lime when such nolice was altached to such v~hic]e, submit to the ~i ol~tion and pay, as a penalty in full satisfaction of such violation, the Sum of ~ive Dollars ($5.00). The failure of~ such owner or operator lo make such payrnen of said amount, within said 24 ]]ours, shall render such owner or operator subject to punishment for a misdemeanor as hereinafter provided. D. : The violalion of asy of the provisions of' this ordinance shall be & misdemeanor and punished by fine not to exceed Fifty r)o]la'i~ ($5~. 00) .. or imprisonment not to exceed thirly (30) d~5;D, or by both such.fine .and in%prisonment in the discretion of ~he Court. E. Any vehicle parked in violation of this ordinance may be removed from the property by Cabarr~s Couuty or any agent of Cabarrus County to a Siorage area or garage. If a vehicle is so removed, the ownev, as a coudition of regaining possessiou of said vel~icle shall be required to pay to Cabarru8 County~all reasonable cosls incidental to the ten, oval and storage of the vehicle. F. The Deputy Sheriff on duty at lhe Cabarrus County Sheriff,s Departn]en~ shall accept designated penalties and issue receipts. The said Deputy Sheriff or any eniployee in the Cou3]ty ~{anager,s Office may accept the costs to lhe County iucidental lo lhe re]nova] aud Slorage of said vehicle. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall apply belween lhe hours of 8:00 A. ]~. and 5:00 ~.R~. J~gouday lhrough Friday of each week, except thai the spaces reserved for !aw enforcement vehicles shall be reserved for said vehicles at all limes. SECTION 6. This ordinauce shall be in full force and effecl from aud after d ay of , 1977.
