Each voting delegate should complete and sign the following statement and <br />RETURN IT TO THE ASSOCIATION OFFICE NO LATER THAT FRIDAY, AUGUST 5TH. <br /> <br /> I, · hereby certify that I am the duly <br /> designated voting delegate for County at <br /> the 70th Annual Conference of the North Carolina Association of County <br /> <br /> Signed <br /> <br /> Title <br /> <br />Articie VII of our Constitution provides: <br /> <br /> "On all questions, including the election of officers· each county represented <br /> shall have one voter which shall be the majority expression of the delegates of <br /> that county. The vote of any county in good standing may be cast by any <br /> county commissioner from the county who is present at the time the vote Js <br /> taken· provided that if no commissioner be present, such vote may be cast by <br /> another county official elected or appointed· who is Formally designated by <br /> the Board of Commissioners. These provisions shall govern district meetings <br /> of the Association." <br /> <br />A County becomes a member in good standing upon payment of the Annual Service Fee. <br /> <br />District caucuses will be held at the Annual Conference for those districts in which the term <br />of the board member expires. Those districts are: <br /> <br /> District 1 Present District Director <br /> <br /> (Cam~len, Chowan, Currituck, Darer Gates, Hyde, Mr. Riley S. Monds, Jr. <br /> Pasquotank~ Perquimanst Tyrrell and Washington) Commissioner, Perqulmans <br /> <br /> - OlJER- <br /> <br /> <br />
