SPECIFICATIONS FOR AN ELECTRONIC VOTING SYSTEM FOR CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> <br />1. Approval: The CES voting system has been approved by the state <br /> of North Carolina to be used by any and all counties in any and <br /> all elections° <br /> <br />2, The CES voting system provides a precinct Ballot Counter which <br /> will electronically count 1,800 ballots per hour. <br /> <br />3. CES guarantees all proposed equipment against <br /> defects in materials and workmanship for a period of (1) year <br /> from date of delivery. <br /> <br /> 11. CES will conduct an extensive voter education program and will <br /> provide an extensive training program for county election <br /> officials and officers. CES has an election consultant who will <br /> work very closely with Cabarrus County personnel. <br /> <br /> <br />
