Tile Slleriff of Cabarrus County, or ally of his deputies or any County employee authorized by the Courtly Manager, shall cause %o he altached to any vehicle parked in violation of the provisions of ihls ordinance a notice to the owner or pperator there0f to report to the Sheriff'S Department in regard to such violation. C. Each such owner or operator may, within 24 hours of the lime when such notice was attached to such vehicle, submit to the violation and pay, as a penalty in full satisfaction of such violation, the sum of Five Dollars ($5. 00). The failure of such owrer or operator to make such payment of said a~nount within said 24 hours shall render such owner or operator subject to punishment for a misdemeanor as hereinafter provided. D. The violaiion of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be a misdemeanor and punished by fine nol to exceed Fifty Dollars ($50.00) or imprisonment not to exceed thirty (30) days, or by both such fine and ~mprisonmeni in tile discretion of the Court. E. A.ny vehicle parked in violation of this ordinance may be removed from the property by Cabarrus County or an5, agent of Cabarrus County to a storage area or garage. If a vehicle is so removed, the owner, as a condiHon of regaining possession of said vehicle shall be required to pay to Cabarrus Couuty all reasoaable costs incidental to the removal and storage of the vehicle. ~. The Deputy Sheriff on duty at the Cabarrus Connly Sheriff's Deparlment shall accept designated penallics and issue receipts. The said Deputy Sheriff or any employee in the County ~{aaager's Office may accept the costs to the Counly incidental to lhe removal aad storage of said vehicle. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall apply betwees the l~ours of 8:00 A. R{. and 5:00 P. A~. A~onday thl'o~Igh l?~.iday of each week, except that the spaces reserved for law cnforcen]ent vehicles shall be reserved for said vehicles at all limes.
