The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus, North Carolina, <br /> met in regular session in Concord, North Carolina, at o'clock a.m. <br /> on the 6th day of October ., 1977. <br /> <br /> Absent: <br /> <br /> B. S. Brown, Jr., representing the Kannapolis Sanitary District, <br /> presented the following resolution which was read: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE ANNEXATION OF <br /> TERRITORIES TO KANNAPOLIS SANITARY DISTRICT <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR THE COUNTY OF <br /> CABARRUS: <br /> <br /> Secfion 1. That the Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus <br /> has determined and does hereby find and declare: <br /> <br /> (a) That on September 30, 1977 a resolution was received from <br /> the Sanitary District Board of the Kannapolis Sanitary District relating <br /> t~ the annexation of territory to the Kannapolis Sanifary District. <br /> <br /> (b) That the territories described in the various petitions consist <br /> of the following: <br /> <br /> (1) The property of Harold Lloyd Overcash and others located on <br /> West "A" Street, Rowan County, North Carolina. <br /> <br /> (2) The property of Frank A. Dayvault and wife located on Ebenezer <br /> Road, Rowan County, North Carolina. <br /> <br /> (3) The property of Delmas Petrea and others located on Berfha <br /> Street~ Rowan County, North Carolina. <br /> <br /> (4) The property of Max C. Price and wife located on Glenwood <br /> Street, Rowan County, North Carolina. <br /> <br /> (5) The property of Lelia S. Glass located north of Centergrove <br /> Road, Cabarrus County, North Carolina. <br /> <br /> (6) The property of James C. Baucom and wife located on Westwood <br /> Drive, Cabarrus County, North Carolina. <br /> <br /> (c) That each petition Was signed by all property owners within the <br />area requested to be annexed. <br /> <br /> (d) That each petition requests thaf all necessary action required <br />by Article 12 of Chapter 130 of the General Statutes of North Carolina <br />for the extension of the boundaries of the Kannapolis Sanitary District <br />be taken so as to annex the territory described in the petition unto the <br />Kannapolis Sanitary District. <br /> <br /> <br />
