Complete plaDs, specl~acat~ons and contract documents will be open for inspection ~n the O~f~ces o[ the A~chitect, George A. Griffin, 13 Cabarrns Avenue, E-, Concord, No£th Carolina, in the plan rooms of the F. Iq. Dodge Corp , and rte A.G.C, ac Charlotte, N. C~, or may be obtained from the A~sb~tec~ by those qualiixed and who will make a bid. Contractors desiring more than one se~ of plans shall pay hhe cost of reproduc~ic~ ~n~ ha~d!~og, tot extra sets, and no refund will be made on these sets when returned with the first set. Subcontractors and material dealers not us.ing ~lle sets of plans and specifications will be charqed the cost o~ reproduction and handling for sheets they require. All Contract;ocs a~e hereby noti£1ed chat they must have proper license under tile Stat~ laws go~,e£n[ng ~hel£ respective trades. Each p~oposa] shall be accompanied by a deposit o£ cash or certified check on some bank or trus! company Insured by the Federal Deposln Insurance Corporation in an amount equal to 5% of the gross amount of the Proposal. In lieu tllereo~, sucb bidders ~ay file a bid bond executed in accordance with conditions as prescribed by GS 143-129 as amended. The deposit shall be xetained if the~successful bidder fails to execute the Cont.£ac~ w~thin 10 days a£ter the award or ~ails to give satisfactory surety as required by law. A Performance Bond, will be required for one hundred per cent (100%) of the Contract Price, and a'Payment Bond will be required for one hundred per cent (100%) o~ the Contract Price. Payment will be made on the basis of ninety per cent (90%) ~ monthly estimates and final payment made upon completion and acceptance of work. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period o£ thirty (30) days, The Owner reserves the rlghn to re3ect any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to award contracts in the best interest o~ the Owner.
