ADVERTISEmeNT FOR BIDS Seaied Proposals will be received by the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners in the Cabarrus County Courthouse, until 11:00 a.m. EST Tuesday, Noven~er 2, 1976, at which time they will be publicly opened and read for the following project: SITE I ~ ROVE~NT THE CABARRUS COUNTY GOVERNMENTAL CENTER CONCORD, N. C. Proposals must be on standard forms, in duplicate, furnished by the Architect, and must be sealed and noted as above. Proposal forms, plans and specifications may be obtaiued at'the office of George A. Griffin, Architect, 13 Cabarrus Avenue, East, Concord~N.C., between the hours of 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday. Each proposal must be accompanied by a deposit of cash or a certified check on a bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insur- ance Corp. in an amount equal to not less than 5% of the amount of the Proposa~,'or, in lieu of the deposit as described above, a bid bond in the above amount iR accordance with G.S. 143-129 as amehded by Chapter 1104 of the ~orth Carolina Public Laws of 1951, the deposit ~o be retained in the event of failure of the successful bidder to execute the contract within ten (10) days after the award or to give satis- factory surety as required. No bidder may withdraw his ~id within thirty (30) days after ~he opening thereof.
