At an adjourned meeting July 10, 1940, the Board of County Commissi°n~rs <br />the following members were presents W. A. Brown, ChA~'~aan, J. Lee White <br /> <br />C. M. Crowell, W. M. Morrison, and 0. E. Soarboro. The ~oard met for <br /> <br />the purpose of revising County budget. <br /> Motion by J. Lee V~hi%e and ~seoonded by W. M. Morrison, the Board <br /> <br />ordered all property placed od tax records subject to taxation by recent <br />ruling of Supreme Court, and appointed W. A. Brown and Charles ~. Field <br />to asses and value said property and charge to owners for the year 1940. <br /> <br /> Mr. G. A. Bathe, Jr. representing the finance committee of the <br /> <br />Fuml .of County Hospital, and explained the need of the 2~ levy. Motion <br />by 0. E. Scarboro, Seconded by W. M Morrison, the Board ordered a 2~ <br />levy on the $100 valuaticas for ~e Cabarrus County Hospital Ma£ntenance <br /> <br />Fund as requested. <br /> There being no further business the Board~~/,~d to ~mee~ ~/17, 1940. <br /> <br /> <br />
