The Board of County Commissioners, Cabarrus County, 1~. C. met ~!~d~ourned ,egula <br /> day September, 1941 at 10s00 o'clock, Eastern Daylight Saving,- <br />15th <br /> of <br /> <br />Time, with the following members presents J Lee White, Temporar~ <br />Chairman, W M Morris, 0 E $carboro and C M Crowell. <br />Absent~ W A Brown, Chairman <br />The acting Chaiman announced that this was the date and hour <br />fixed by the Board for the public hearing upon the follewing bond orders <br />ORDER AUTHORIZING $60,000.00 BONDS FOR SCHOOL <br />BUILDING~ AND EQUIPMENT <br />AND ~AT the Board would immediately hear any and all citizens and tax- <br />payers who might desire to protest against the issuance of said bonds. <br />No citizen or taxpayer of the County appeLred, either ia person or <br />by attorney, to ~rotest against the issuance of said bon~ds, and the Clerk <br />immo~noed that no protest in writing, signed by any citizen or tax payer <br />has been presented. <br />Thereupon upon motion bf Commissiomer W M Morrison, seconded by <br />Com~,issioner C M Crowell, and carried, the order introduced and passed <br />on first reading on September 2nd, 1~41, authorizing $~0,000.00 bond for <br />school buildings and equipment was read a second time and placed upon its <br />final passage. The vote upon the final passage of said order was: <br />Ayest J Lee White, 0 E Scarboro, W M Mor~.ison and C M Crowell. <br />Hoes s None <br />The acting chairman then announced that the order authorizimg <br />$~O, OOO.O0 bond for schoolbuild£ngs and equip~n~ had passed. <br />The Clerk was thereupon directed to publish in The COncord Daily <br />Tribune, one in each of two successive the <br />bond <br />order <br />which was <br />finally passed this day, and to publish at thefoot of said bond order the <br />appended note as required by Section 19 of the County Finance <br />There being no further business the Board adjourned to meet October <br /> <br /> <br />
