The Board of County Commissioners met this 2nd day of February, 194 with the following memberw present: J Lee ~nite, Temporary Chairman, 0 H Scarboro, W M Morrison and C M Crowell. Absent: W A Brown, Chairman: Motion was made by ~ ~ Morrison and seceuded b~ C M Crowell that C N Field be authorized to transfer $1200.00 from appropriations for Court House and County Building.~~ ~o'~e~airs s~d addition to County Food Stamp Office. Motion was made by C M Crowell and seconded by W M Morrison that Tax lis_ting be extended to Feb 7th, 1942, Motion was made by C M Crowell and seconded by ~ M Morrison that motion passed by commissioners January 22nd, 19~/be rescinded and following to be approved. ECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT EELAY_I~N~ID~E INAU* GURATION AND OPERATION OF THE FOOD STAMP PLAN WH~{~S, there has been submitted to the Board of Count~ Commiss- ioners of Caharrus County, N. C., an agreement to be entered into by and between the Surplus Marketing Administration, an agency of the United States Depart of Agriculture, the Board of County Commissioners of Cabarrus County, N. C. and the Cabarrus County Board of Charities and Public Welfare of Cabarrus County, N. C.; ~hich agreement relates to the inauguration' and operation of the Food Stamp Plan within Cabarrus County, North Carolina. ~~ after due consideration, it has been de~d desireable and advantageous that said agreement be executed ~n behalf of the Board of County Commissioners of Cabarrus County, N. C. NO, V, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Cabarrus County, N. C.
