The Board of County Commissioners meet Nay 3, 1943 with the followil~g members present: J. Lee V~hite, Cha~rmau, W. ~!. Eor~son, C. E.Crowell~ Ray W. cline and Homer L. ~ink. A~.ia joint mseting of Count~ Con~nissioners and Welfare Board motion made by W. M. Norrison and seconded by C. M. Crowell that budget of County Welfare Board as presented by E; Farrell White be adopted. Motion was ~ade by W. E. Eorrison and seconded by C. N. Crowell tha'~ the Board of C~ounty Con~mis~s~o_~ne~r~ for the County of Cabarrus under the authority conferred in t~s revenue act of l~2,hereby levied on all subjects of taxation except Building & Loan Association set out in Schedule "B" of said act ard not prohibited in said Act for County purposes. Said license tax shall be for twelve months and shall be collected by the Sheriff or the tax~ collector of~ Cabarrus Co~mty and said license shall be issued by said officer.
