The Board of County Commissioners meet June 7, 1943 with the followdng <br />present: J. Lee White, Chairman, W. M. Morrison, Ray W. Cline, C. M. <br />iCrowell, and Homer L.Fink. <br />Motion made by C. M. Crowell, seconded by W. M. Morrison, that <br />Frank Smart application to sell beer be approved. <br />Motion made by Ray W. Cline, seconded by C. M. Crowell, that C. N. <br />Field, County Accountant be authorized to collect or receive prepayment <br />taxes fc~ the year 1943 from July 1st to Oct. 1st, 1943. Machinery Act <br />1935 Section 805-8 allowing discounts as fixed by %he state Law. <br />Taxes to be collected at the tenative rate of 625 per $1OO. Voted <br />and carried. <br />Motion made by C. M.Crowell, seconded by Ho~er L. Fink~ that Gas & <br />Automobile Dealers ~be exempt from privilege license tax for the year <br />beginning July 1, 1943, or as long as war lasts, through fiscal year. <br />There being no further business the board adjourned to meet June <br />10, 1943. <br />~ Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
