The Board of County Commissioners met this 2nd day of <br /> <br /> July, 1945, with the following members present: J L~o White, <br /> Chairman, Ray W Cltne, W N Morrtson, Homer L Fink and C ~ <br /> <br /> Cr owel 1 · <br /> <br /> ~iotion was made by W M Morrison and seconded by C <br /> <br /> Crowell that it would be unlawful to sell fire crackers in <br /> <br /> Cabarrus County, and if any license has been sold, the sheriff <br /> <br /> of said County shall prorate same and return balance to pur- <br /> <br /> cl~a set. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by C M Crowell and seco~ded by R~y W <br /> <br /> Cline that all accounts of county be audited as of July 1st, <br /> <br /> 1945, by Frank C Buck Company, as 'to per contract. <br /> Motion was made by C M Crowell and seconded by Homer L <br /> <br /> Fink that C N Field, County Accountant by auhhorized to bala~ ce <br /> <br />the budget for the year including June 30, 1945, transferlng <br />any surplus from one fund to that of another within the fund <br />as follows: General County Fund and General School Fund. <br /> <br /> The following Eood and lawful men were frawn to serve <br /> <br /> as~ Jurors for the August term of Super for Court: <br /> <br /> Firs t Week <br /> <br /> J W Helms 4-4 c A Calloway W-5 <br /> J E Vaughn 4-3 Philllp R Miller <br /> J D Melton W-1 Hugh W Widenhouse T-9 <br /> L R Lyles W-1 H A Casper T-8 <br /> Ross A Lentz W-1 D H Somamon T-11 <br /> Robert Pigg W-4 Geo.
