The Board of County Commissioners met on Nov. 5, 19~5 with the <br /> <br />following members pra~ent: J. Lee White, Chairm~n, W. M. Morrison, <br /> <br />H. L. Fink~ Ray W. Cline,&C. M. Crowell. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by H. t. Fink and seconded by W. M. Morrison, <br /> <br />that United ~Var Fund of Cabarrus County be given a donation of $1OO. <br /> <br /> Motion was may by Ray W. Cline and seconded by W. M. Mor~ison, <br /> <br />that the follwing roads in No. 4 Township be put on State Nap. <br /> <br />West A St., West 7th St., and Goldston St. all in Ka~u~apolis. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by C. M. Crowell and seconded by W. M. Morrison, <br /> <br />that the County Court House Clock be fixed as per ~ontract , and also <br />J. Lee ~nite and C. N. Fields, be appointed a committee to see Mr. <br />L. A. Fisher of Board of Light and Water Commissioners as to w~ring <br />and furnishing power. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by W. M. Morrison and seconded by C. M. Crowell, <br /> <br />that Audit as presented by Frank T. Buck Co. be accepted. <br /> <br /> Motion ~r as made by RaY W. Cline and seconded by C. M. Crowell, <br /> <br />that contract of Frank T. Buck Co. auditors be renewed as per contract <br /> <br />af this year, Oct. 1, 1945 to Oct. 1, 1946. <br /> <br /> Motien was made by Ray W. Cline and seconded by W. M. Morrison, <br /> <br />that Tax on Xnights of Young ~merica property be removed. <br /> <br /> Motion w ss ma~e by Homer L. Fins and seconded by Ray W. Cline, <br /> <br />that C. N. Field ~ ~County Accountant and Tax Collector , be authorised <br /> <br />to take off Tax Books, land of Young Knights of America. <br /> <br /> Motion was rode by W. M. Morrison, and seconded by Ray ~. Cline, <br /> <br />that the follw~ing applicatiOns to sell Beer be approved: <br /> <br />E. M. Furr, T. W. Anderson, ar~ H. V. Earnhardt. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by W. M. Morrison and seconded by Ray W. Cline, <br /> <br />that State High~ay ~ud ~ublic Works commission be requested to open <br />road leading to Mr. Wa!ter~~ in No. 10 Township to Flowe's <br />S~ere Road near ~r. Will Gourley's. <br /> <br /> Motion w~s made by H. L. Fink and seconded by W. M. Morrison, <br /> <br />that Cabarrus County Commissioners go on record against the selling <br />of fire crackers in Cabarrus County and also authorized Sheriff <br />reimburse all license sold to date through County Treasurer and <br />refuse to sell License to anyone as far as the law applies. <br /> <br /> !~.otion w as made by W. M. Norrison and seonnd~d by Ray W. Cline, <br /> <br />that Cabarrus County pay Register of Deeds $.50 each for recording <br />Soldier's Discharge and also $.50 for one Certified copy.
