The Board of County ~pmmissioners met Feb. 4, 19h6 with the follow~ ing Members present: J. Lee White, chairman, Homer L. Fink, Ray W. Cline, W. M. Norris on, and g. N. Crowell. Notion w as made by Ray W. Cline and seconded by %~. N. Norrison requesting State Highway and Public Works Commission to surface Street road leading from Faggart's service Station on Highway 151 to Flo~e's Store turnin~ left at Flcwe's Store and continuing to Bethel School house on Highway 27. Motion was made by W. M. Norrison and seconded by C. N. Crowell that State High~ay and Public Works Commission b e requested to surface~tre~ Road Beginning at Faggart's Service Station on Highway 151 continuing by Flowe's Store straight through to Highway 27 ~-'- o~ Township Gate. ...... ~ Motion was made by C. M. Crowell and seconded by Homer L. Cline and seconded by Homer L. Fink, that State Highway and Public Works Commission be requested ~o surface ~tr~t, road starting near Winecoff High School by way of Boy Scout Camp, Trinity Church to Bethpage Church Road. Motion was made by Ray ~. Cline and seconded by Homer L. Fink, that State Highway and Public Works Commission be requested to surface Street, Road from Petrea Store in No. 4 Township, to Enochville about 2½ miles. Motion was made by Ray W. Cline and seconded by Homer L. Fink, that State High'~ay and Public Works Commission be requested to surface ~tr~t, Road ~eg~nning near Hospital on Highway No. 29 and co~ing out on Old Salisbury Road near N. A. Archibald home. Motion was masse by W. M. Morrison and seconded by C. 5{. Crowell that Juror be paid $4.00 per day which is limit by present statute and that representatives from this county be requested to change the statute giving the commissioners a wider scope to increase the joror's pay, and also be given 5 $ per mile each trip. Motion was made Oy C. M. Crowell and seconded by 1S. M. Morrison that tax listing be extended to Feb lOth. Motion was made by Ray W. Cline and oeconded by C. M. Crowellt~fat resignation of Charles N. Field as tax supervisor be accepted as of Feb. 15, 1946.
