The Board of ~ommissioner8 for the County of Cabarrus, North Caroli met in adjorned regular session on May 20, 1946, at lOgO0 o'clock Ac Mo the Courthouse, in ~onoord, North Carolina, the usual place of meeting. Present~ ChaA~aan J. Lee ~hite, and Commissioners C. h. Crowell, W. h. Morrison, H. L. l~ink and ~ay W. Cline Absent ~ None The Chairman announced that this was the date and hour fixed by the Board for the public hearing upon the following bond ordert ORDER AUTHORIZING $870,000 SCHOOL BUILDING BONDS and that the ~oard would immediately hear any and-all citizens and tax- payers who might desire to protest against the issuance of said bonds. No citizen or taxpayer of the County appeared, either in person or attorney, to protest against the issuance of any of said bonds, and the Clerk announced that no protest in writing, signed by any citizen or tax-. payer, had been presented. Thereupon, upon noti~n of 0ommiseloner ~. M. ~orrison · seconded by Commissioner C. M. Crowell, and carried the order introduced and passed on rst reading on May§, 1946, authorizing $870,000 School Building Bonds s read a second tine and placed upon its final passage. The Clerk was thereupon directed t o publish in the Concord Tribune ~ne in each of two successive weeks, the ~ond order which was finally pa~ sed this day, and to p~blish at the foot of said bond order the appended as required by the County Finance Act. Commissioner C. M. Eastern Standard Time, at which the~'e shall be submitted to the qualifie¢ borers of Cabarrua %unty the following questions~ 1. Shall an order finally passed May 20, 1946, authorizing not exceedS.nS $870,000 School Building Bonds of Cabarrue County for enlarging and erect.ins school buildings in said County and acquiring necessary equipment , and
