BUCK COMPANY of Co~ ~cord, North (~arolina hereinafter known as the Party of the First Part, and BOARD OF CONNIS~IONERS of The County of Cabarrus North Carolina, hereinafter known as th. Party of the Second Part. 1. IT iS AGREED that the Party of the First Part shall conduct an audit of the Lccounts and re¢:ords pertaining to the following funds and/or divisions of the Party of 1.he second part~ General ~unH; Old Age Assistance and Aid to Dependent Children Fund: Host,ital ~inte:~ance~ Fund; Hospital Debt Service Fund; Interest and Sinking Fund; Sinkin~ Fund; Road F~nd; and School Fund for the period beginning July 1, 1947 and ending Jun~ ~30, 1948, ~.n accordance with the Standard Program of Audit Procedure atta~ched heret¢ and made a p~rt of this contract. (Authority for elimination or variations from the Standard Progrs~ of Audit Procedure must be obtained by the Governmental Unit from the D~.rector of Loc~l Government, in writing, before a contract is executed aud such eliminat.ion when a~,proved by the Director of Local Government~ must be stated hereunder wit~ re- ferenc~ to the p~ragraph n~ber designated in said Standard Program of Audit Pr¢.cedure). 2. Parl~y of the First Part agrees that the services he has contracted to perfo~ under this c¢~ntract shall be rendered by or under the personal supervision of compete~t ac- I countar.ts who will faithfully perform their work with care and diligence and ~ port i all izu~egularities, ommissions and discrepancies in the accounts of the Party of the Second Part. !3. It ~s understood and agreed that should unusual conditions arise whereby the services of the Party of the First Part are necessary beyond the extent of the work contemplated and recuired under the Standard Program of Audit Procedure, such unusual conditions sha~l ~ be referred to the Party of the Second Part who shall instruct said Party of th~ First ~lPart ccncerning such additional services, which shall be subject to the approva~ of the Directcr of Local Government. 4. The audit shall be started as soon after this contract is executed and approved as lis agreeaboe to the Parties hereto and shall be completed and a written report ~hereon rendered within a reasonable time after the c~se of the fiscal period covered by this i contract, One copy~?f said r~eport shall be filed with the Director of Local Government. 5.
