The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus, North Carolina, met in adjourned regular session on April 19, 1948, at 10:O0 o,clock A~. at the Courthouse, in Concord, North Carolina, the usual place of meeting. Present; Chairman J. Lee White, the commissioners, W. M. Morrison, R. W.i Cline and H. ~.. Fink. Absent: C. M. Crowell The' chairman annomqced that this was the date and hour fixed by the Boar~ for the public hearing upon the following bond order: ORDER AUTHORIZING $1,467,000 SCHOOL BUILDING BONDS and that the Board would immediately hear any and all ~itizens and tax- payers who might desire to pzotest a~ainst the issuance of said bonds. No citizen or ~xpayer of the County appeared, either in person of by attorney, to protest against the issuance of any said bonds, and the Clerk announced that no protest in writing, signed by any ai%~ea~or ta~q payer, had been presented. Thereupon, upon motion of Commissioner ~. M. Morrison, seconded by Commissioner R. W. Cline, and carried, the order introduced and passed on first reading on April 5, 1948 authorizing $1,467,O00 School ~uilding Bonds was read second time and placed upon its final passage. The vote upon the final passage of said order was: Ayes: Commissioners J. E. '~'hite, h. M. Morrison P~ W. Cline, and H. ]~. fink. Noes: None The Chairman then announced that the order authorizing $1,467,0OO School Building Bonds has passed. The Clerk was thereupon directed to publish in the Concord Tribune, once in each of two successive weeks, the bond order which was finally passed this day, and to publish at the foot of said bond order the appended note as required by the CountyFinance Act.
