The Board of ~County Commissioners held their regular meeting Monday , January !~ 1951 with the <br />following members present: <br /> <br /> ~. Lee White, Chairman, Homer L.. Fink, P. Ernest Stallings · <br /> L. Bowman Barrier and M. S. Lyles ~ ~, <br />A se ; <br /> <br />Motion was made hy Homer L. Fink seconded b y M. Smoot Lyles that Lewis Paul Sherrill be given a <br />license to peddle on account of being disabled. <br /> <br />Motion by Homer L. Fink seconded by L. Bowman ~Barrier that State Highway and Public Works Commiss~ on <br />be requested to tar and gravel road from Cline Ave. by Walker Street, thence to Concord and Kannapo~is <br />Highway. Gravel road from Burrage Road to Center Grove Church this road is to be opened up <br />paralleling to pipe lines and Power lines to Lake Concord. <br /> <br />Motion by Homer L. Fink seconded by L. Bowman Barrier, Ralph S. Eagle be exempt for life on <br />account of being disabled veteran. <br /> <br />Motion by Homer L. Fink seconded by L. Bowman Barrier that Audit report of C. N. Field and P. Ernes <br />Stallings for D. Ray McEachern final report be accepted. <br /> <br />Motion by L. Bowman Barrier seconded by Homer L. Fink that Deputies W. W. White salary be $270.00 <br />and Robert E. Phillips salary be $250.00 and Douglas B.
