The Board of County Commissioners held their regular meeting on ~arch 5, 1951 at the Courthouse <br />with the following members present: <br /> <br /> J. Lee White, chaLrman, Homer L. Fink, P. Ernest Stallings, L. Bowman Barrier and N. Smoot Lyles. <br /> <br />Absent- None <br /> <br />Motion by Homer L. Fink seconded by L. Bowman Barrier .that State Highway and Public works corrals- <br />sion be requested to pub stop lights at c~ossings on Highway 29 and Lane Street, Central Drive and <br />Jackson Streets, <br /> <br />Widen and topsoil road from M. M. Morrison t.o F. A. Chesters in No. 3 Township. <br /> <br /> Tar and gravel road from Highwa~ 49 to Gold Hill Road in No. 7 Township. <br /> <br /> Hardsurface road known as Statesville Stage Coach road to Boy Scout Camp Road in No. 4 Township. <br /> Scrape road from Bethpage Road ~ud' ~te back to Bethpage road. <br /> <br /> Pave road from Highway 29A to Bethpage road in No. 4 Township <br /> <br />Grade and gravel road from Highway 73 over Eagle Street, Saw Mill Street, Pine St. in Pleasant <br />Hills back to .No. 73, <br /> <br /> Pave road off south Ridge Avenue to dead in. <br /> <br />Motion by P, Ernest Stallings seconded by M. Smoot Lyles that Red Cross be given $250.00 donation. <br /> <br /> The following good and lawful citizens were drawn for the April term of court. <br /> <br /> 1st week 2nd Week <br />E. J.
