The Board of County Commissioners held March 3, 1952 with the following members present: J. Lee ~hite, chairman~ Homer L. Fink, P. Ernest stallings, L. Bowman Barrisr and M. Smoot Lyles. Absent- None Motion by Homer L Fink seconded by P. Ernest Stallings that State Highway and Public Works comm~im~ ~ be requested to ~'~lf~-~a~=--=~ the following roads. Tar and Gravel road from Main Street and back to Rockwell Road in No. 11 TS. Hard surface road in No. 3 TS from Goodman Store near Coddle Creek ~hurch to Frank Goodman Place known as Archer Road. Scrape and gravel road off Petrea St in No. 4 TS. Resurface road from highway 73 through Grove Park kn~vn as Linmore Drive. Tar and gravel road~ in No. 10 TS known asBethel Church Road. Gravel and scrape road in No. 11 Township from City limits to Cozart St and include Cozart Street. Top Soil and gravel road in No. 2 Township from poplar Tent Road to Billy Fletcher Farm. Scrape and gravel road in No. 5 Townshipfro~ Hamilton Street to city limits and known as Madison,A' ~e.
