The Board of County Commissioners held March 3, 1952 with the following members present: <br /> <br /> J. Lee ~hite, chairman~ Homer L. Fink, P. Ernest stallings, L. Bowman Barrisr <br /> and M. Smoot Lyles. <br /> <br /> Absent- None <br /> <br /> Motion by Homer L Fink seconded by P. Ernest Stallings that State Highway and Public Works comm~im~ ~ <br /> be requested to ~'~lf~-~a~=--=~ the following roads. <br /> <br /> Tar and Gravel road from Main Street and back to Rockwell Road in No. 11 TS. <br /> <br /> Hard surface road in No. 3 TS from Goodman Store near Coddle Creek ~hurch to Frank Goodman Place <br /> <br /> known as Archer Road. <br /> <br /> Scrape and gravel road off Petrea St in No. 4 TS. <br /> <br /> Resurface road from highway 73 through Grove Park kn~vn as Linmore Drive. <br /> <br /> Tar and gravel road~ in No. 10 TS known asBethel Church Road. <br /> <br /> Gravel and scrape road in No. 11 Township from City limits to Cozart St and include Cozart Street. <br /> <br /> Top Soil and gravel road in No. 2 Township from poplar Tent Road to Billy Fletcher Farm. <br /> <br /> Scrape and gravel road in No. 5 Townshipfro~ Hamilton Street to city limits and known as Madison,A' ~e. <br /> <br /> The following good ~d lawful citizens were dra~n to serve oD the April term of Court; <br /> 1st week <br /> <br />Wilson L SeLlers T-4 Davis Turner T-12 <br />Mrs Fr$~ L Hammell T-8~ ~ C Baucom jr.
