Dr~, Chairman, and Comni~sioners Tatum, Houeh, ]Angle and Slo~n of the <br /> <br /> Beard of Commissioners for the County of Rowan, and J.. Lee White, C~airman and Commissioners, Lyles <br /> <br /> Stallings, and Fink~o£ the Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus. <br /> <br /> Absent: L. Buwm~n Barrier, Cabarrus County.. <br /> <br /> This being the date and ~ur for the public hearing upon a petition filed with the Board <br /> <br /> of C~ssioners f~r the County of Ro,~u on August ~, t952, proposing the creation of a sanitary <br /> district located in Cabarrus and Rowan Counties, ~he Chairman of the Board of Commissioners for the <br /> County of Rowan announced tha~ the Board cf Commissioners for the County of Oabarrus and ~he Board <br /> of Commissioners for the County of Rowan ~ould hear any resident freeholder or other interested <br /> <br /> pers on. ' · .'. <br /> <br /> No one appeared to protest against the creation of such sanitary district. <br /> <br /> Thereupon Commissioner W. G. Houck of the Board of Co~m~issioners for the County of P~wan <br /> <br />introduced the foll~ring resolution which was read: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION B~ATING TO THE CREATION OF A <br /> SANITA~f DISTRICT IN CABARHUS AND R~AN COUNTIES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on August 4, 1952, the Board of Commissioners for the County of Rowan passed a <br /> <br />resolution entitled; "RESOLUTION C~NCERNING A PETITION FOR THE PROPOSED CRFATION OF & SANITARY <br />DISTRICT, FIXING A TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING THEREON~ AND PROVIDIlD FOR NOTICE OF SUCH <br />PUBLIC HEARING" and directed the Clerk of the Board of Commissioners to transmit a certified copy <br />ofsuch resolution to the Board of Commissioners fc~ the County of Cabarrus; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the time and place of such public hearing no one appeared to protest against <br /> <br />the creation of the sanitary district comprising the teritory described in the petition and set <br /> <br />forth in said resolution; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Con~issioners for the County of Cabarrus and the Board of <br /> <br />Commissioners for the County of Rowan: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Board of Cc~nissioners for the County of Cabarrus and t he Board of <br /> <br />Comuissioners for the Count~ of Rowan approve of the creation of a sanitary district comprising <br />the terriorty described in the petition mentioned in the preambles of this resolution~ such territo~ <br />being locatedin Cabarrus and Rowan countied (the major portion thereof being in R~wan county)~ and <br />the Boundaries thereof being those indicated on the map makked "Jackson Park Sanitary District", da'~ed <br />Nay, 19%1 and pre~-~_red by Paul M. Van Camp, and described by metes ar~ bou~Ms in the form for the <br />notice of public hearing se~ fc~th in Section 3 of said resolution passed by the Bcard of Commissi.~ners <br />for the County of Rowan on August 4, <br /> <br /> S~on 2, That the Chairman of the Board of Commlssioners for the Comty of Cabarrus and <br /> <br />the Chairman of the Board of Commis~oners for the county of Rowan be and they are hereby directed <br /> <br />to ~ransmit said petition and certLfied copy ofthis resolution to the State Board of Health, Ralei~ <br /> <br /> <br />
