The Board of County commissioners hel~ their regular meeting Tuesday April 7, 1953 at 2~eo'clock <br /> A. M. at the County Courthouse with the following members present.- <br />~ J. Lee White, chairman, Homer L. Fin~, L. Bowman Barrier <br /> P. ~rnest Stallings and M. Smoot Lyles- <br /> Abaent- None <br />· <br /> Motion by Homer L. Fink seconded by~M. Smoot Lyles that State Highway and Public works be <br /> requested to i~stigate First Street where it crosses to S. 29 in regards to a stop light cr <br /> underpass. <br /> <br /> Motion by L. Bowman Barrier seconded by Hc~er L. Fink that State Highwayand Public Works <br /> <br /> be requested to surface treat road in No. 4 Township from Bethpage road to Rankin Street, and <br /> known as Allene Avenae. Take over and maintain road in No. 2 Township and is known as Sherrill <br /> Drive and Spencer ~rive. <br /> <br /> Motion by M. Smoot Lyles seconded by L. Bo~mum Barrier that.Charles N. Field be-appointed <br /> Count~ Accountant for two years. <br /> <br /> Motion by M. S. Lyles seconded by P. E. Stallings that Florence Crittenton Home be given donation <br /> of $500.00 from July 1952 to July 1953. <br /> <br /> Motion by Homer Lo Fink seconded by M.
