The Board of County Commissioners held their regular meeting June 7, 1954 at 10:00 <br /> <br />o' clock A, M. with the following members present: <br /> <br /> J. Lee White, Chairman <br /> <br /> Commissioners Homer L. Fink, L.Bowman Barrier, P.E. Stallings,and <br /> <br /> M. Smoot Lyles. <br /> <br />Motion by L. Bowman Barrier and seconded by P.Ernest S,,allings that thefollowing Roads be <br />approved- <br /> <br /> No. 4 Township- Bethpage Rd. to Walker Rd- Tar and Gravel. <br /> <br /> No. 4 Township. "M" "0" AND "R" Streets in Parksdale- Clean Ditches out- scrape. <br /> <br /> No. 4 Township- Kentucky Avemue ~- Tar and Gravel. <br /> <br /> Motion by P.Ernest Stallings and seconded-by L. Bowman Barrier that B. H. Smith ' s privile~g <br /> <br />license be Renewed . also that James R. Pluz~er' s priviledge license be renewed. A Priviledge <br /> <br />license was granted for Mrs. Minnie Bell Eddings to run a store on account of her being a widow <br /> <br />and this is the only means for support for herself and her children. Also Jonas Tucker, a <br /> <br />disabled veteran, was issued peddlers license. <br /> <br /> There be :i~g no further business the meeting adjorned to meet again on June 28, 1954. <br /> <br /> <br />
