<br /> . Commissioner L.Bowman Barrier introduced the following resolution which was read:
<br />i RESOLUTION PROVIDING FO~ THE ISSUANCE OF A $15,000 REFUNDING SCHOOL
<br />i BOND ANTICIPATION NOTE.
<br />
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus:
<br />
<br /> Section 1. That the Board of Commissioners has determined au~ does hereby find and declare
<br />
<br /> ~hat an order authorizing $85,000 refunding bonds was finally passed on October 4, 1954.
<br />
<br /> Section 2. That for the purpose of refunding the $15,000 School Buildirg Bonds dated
<br />
<br /> December l, 1937, and maturing December' l, 1954 which are described in paraEraph 3 of said order,
<br />
<br /> .here shall be issued, in anticipation of the receipt of the proceeds of a like amount of said
<br />
<br /> 'efunding bonds, a negotiable note of the County of Cabarrus designated "Refunding School Bond
<br /> ~NTICIPATION Note", which note shall be dated November 20, 1952, shall mature on March l, 1955,
<br /> ~ithout option of prior payment, shall be numbered l, a nd shall bear interest at a rate to be deter-
<br /> mined by the Local Government Commission at the time the note is sold, not exceeding 6% per annum.
<br />
<br /> which interest shall be payable at the maturity of the note to which no interest coupons shall be
<br />
<br /> attached. Said noteshall be payable as to principal and interest at such bank or trust company
<br /> as may be determined by the Chairman of the Board after the award of the note by th~ Local
<br /> Government Commission, and shall ~e payable in ar~ coin or currency of the United States of
<br /> America which, ~at the time of payment,, is legal tender for tY~ payment of public and private debts
<br />
<br /> Section 3. That Said note shall be signed by the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners and
<br />
<br /> by the Register of Deeds a~ ex officio Clerk of said Board, under the corporate seal of the
<br /> County, and shall have endorsed thereon the written approval of the County Attorney, ard the
<br /> form of said nob e shall be substantially as follows:
