The Board of County Commissioners held their regular meeting on January 3, 1955 at the <br /> <br />Courthouse with the following members present: <br /> J. Lee White- Chairman <br /> <br /> Commissioners, L Bowman Barrier, P. E. Stallings, M. Smoot Lyles and <br /> W.Frank McCray. <br /> <br /> Motion by Frank McCray, seconded by M.Smoot Lyles that Lewis Sherrill be giben free <br />privilege license. <br /> <br /> Motion by L.Bowman Barrier, seconded by P.Ernest Stallingss that a machine to plant trees, <br />as recommended by the forrester,be bought if the money can be found.~ <br /> <br /> Motion by M.S~oot Lyles seconded by P.Ernest StalliDgs that the Road Petition in No. 2 <br />Township that runs from Linker Rd.to Ivey Cline road be passed. This was to be graded and gravel. <br /> <br /> Motion by Frank McCray seconded by L.Bowman Barrier that Mr.C.N.Field be authorized to <br />increase the Insurance on all County Property as recommended by the Committee. <br /> <br />Motion by L. Bowman Barrier, seconded by M.Smoot Lyles that Mrs. Creech be made full time <br />employee of the Domestic Courb and that her salary of $230.00 per month and Seven cents per mileage <br /> <br /> Also that C. N.Field be authorized to get bond for Mrs. Creech. <br /> <br /> Motion by F{ank McCray seconded by M.Smoot Lyles that J. Carlyle Rutledge, be <br />appointed Judge PAr~ime of Domestic Relation Court. <br /> <br /> Motion by L. Bowman Barrier, seconded by M.Smoot Lyles that C. N.Field be authorized <br />to transfer to the Welfare Department of O. A. S. $2000. A. D.C. $1000 . This is themoney that <br />was authorized at the December meeting. <br /> <br /> Motion by M.SmootLyles seconded by Frank McCray that Frank P.
