The Board of County Commissioners met on April 1, 1955 at the Courthouse at 10:00 A. M. with <br />the following members present: <br /> <br /> ChaLrman- J. Lee White <br /> <br /> Commissioners- P.E.Stallings, L.Bowman Barrier, Frank McCray and M.S. Lyles <br /> <br />Motion by L.Bowman Barrier, seconded by M.Smoot Lyles that the following Road Petitions <br />be passed: <br /> <br /> No. 4 Township - Sweet Gum Street- Scrape an~ ~ravel <br /> <br /> No. 9 Township - Paige and Caubte Street- Grade aR Black Top <br /> <br /> No. 4 Township - AshiagtonStreet- Widen and put in drains <br /> <br />MOtion by M. Smoot Lyles seconded by Frank McCray that the following sanitary co~mmittee be <br />appointed for Parkwood Sanitary Board: Lewis A White, Chairman, Jerry Linker and W. C. Hagler. <br /> <br />Motion bY Frank McCray, seconded by L.Bowman Barrier that if $300.00 can be found to give to <br />the Kannapolis National Guard. <br /> <br />The meeting adjorned to meet at 8:30 A.
