265 <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners met at a called meeting on Tuesday April 19, 1955 at 10:}0 <br /> <br />A. M. at the Courthouse, with the following present: <br /> <br />Chairman- J. Lee Whit e <br /> <br />Commissioners, P.E..Stalli:ngs, L.Bowman Barrier and M.S. Lyles and Frank McCray. <br /> <br />Mr. Roy Gaddy came before the Boa rd of Commissioners and requested that Cabarrus County come <br />under G. S. 160-122.1 "plumbing Inspector" by Legislative action at this session of the <br /> <br />Legislature. . · <br /> <br />Motion by P.E. Stallings, seconded by Frank McCrat that the Board by unaminous vote approve <br />the above request, and instructed the Clerk to Board to notify by letter Cabarrus County <br />Legislators to include Cabarrus County in the above act. <br /> <br />Motion by Frank McCray, seconded by P.E.Stallings that the Board of County Commissioners by <br />unaminous vote to make the County Treasumer salary no~ to exceed $36OO.O0 year effective July <br />1, 1955 and also duties of Treasurer to be designated by County Commissioners and Clerk to <br /> <br />Board to notify Cabarrus County Legislators. <br /> <br />Holding Brothers asked permission to cross county, property to connect with City sewer line. <br />M~tion by L.Bowman Barrier, seconded by Frank McCray the Board byunaminous vote granted the <br />aboverequest. <br /> <br />There being no further business, the board adJorned to meet at their regular meetingon May 2, 19! <br /> <br /> .? <br /> <br /> <br />
