Upon motion by C. Harold Graham, seconded by I.V. Phillips, Jr., the foregoing resolution entitledk"RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE REQUESTED TAX RATE TO THE BOARD OF COUNTY 00MMISSIONERS OF CABARRUS COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA", was passed by the following vote: Ayes: I. V. Phillips Jr., C. Harold Graham, and George W. Gillon. Noes: None. I, I. V. Phillips Jr., Secretary of the Sanitary Distraict Board of Royal Oaks Sanitary District, in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, do hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of the minutes of a meeting of said Sanitary District Board held on July 18th, 1955 and that such minu~es have been recorded in Minute Book 1 of said Board, beginning at page 58 and ending at page~19. ~ Witness m~ hand, this 22 day of July, 1955. Frank McCrey, seconded by L.Bowman Barrier, the Board decided by unaminous vote that there shall be included in the 1955 tax levy 15 cents per $100.00 property valuation to ~e levied against all taxable property wi%hin %be Royal Oaks Sanitary District, mhich tax shall be collected as are other County Taxes in accordance wi~h the provision of the above resolution and the General Status of North Carolina. Motion by M.Smoot Lyles seconded by L.Bowman Barrier that the Board ordered that each Fixe Department in Cabarrus County with approved equipment be paid the sum of $100.00 per month. On motion by Commissioner M.Smoot Lules, seconded by P.Ernest Stallings, ~he Board of County Com~iss~mners decided that s~ray dogs sha~l be impounded for a period of fifteen (15) days before being disposed of.
