<br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus:

<br /> Section 1. That the Board of Commissioners has determined and does hereby find and declare
<br />that an order authorizing $10F, O00 refunding. bonds was ~ finally pas.s, ed_ 9n_August 1, 1955.
<br /> Section 2. That for the purpose of refunding the ~10,000 School Bonds dated October 1, 1927
<br />
<br />maturing October 1, 1955, and the $15,000 School Building Bonds date_d December 1, 1937, mturing
<br />December 1, 1955, which are described in paragraph 3 of said order, ~here sha~l be issued in
<br />anticipation of the receipt of the proceeds of a like amount of said refunding bonds, a negotiable
<br />note of the County of Cabarrus designated "R~efunding Scho01 Bond Anticipation Note", which note
<br />shall be datedSeptember 26, 1955, shall mature on March .1, 1956, without option of prior payment,
<br />shall be numbered 1, and shall bea~ interest at a rate to be determined by the Local Government
<br />Commission at the time the note is sold, not exceeding 6% per annum, which interest shall be
<br />payable at the maturity of the note to which no interest coupons shall be attached . Said note shal
<br />be payable as to principal and interst at such bank or trust company as may be determined by the
<br />Chairman of the Board after the award of the note by the Local Government Commission, and shall
<br />be payable in any coin or currency of the United States of America which, at the time of payment,
<br />is legal tender for the payment of public and private debts.
