'344 NOW, THLREFORE, be ii resolved for the purppse of establishing corrected boundaries for the fire districts herein enum~aled the resolution adopted by the Board on the 3rd day of January, 1956, be and it is hereby rescinded, and in lieu thereof, t he following described fire districts be and they hereby are created as set forth below: LIMITS OF PROTECTED AREA OF ~HE MIDLAND VOLUNTEER FIRE DISTRICT. Beginning at a point on Highway Number 27 at the Cabarrus Stanly County line; thence in a southwesterly direction to a poinl where the said county line and the Rocky River thence in a westerly direction to a point on Highway Number 601 at a wooded area on land owned by Mx. L. M.Clontz, Route l, Midland, North Carolina, ~his point being approximately 1500 feet north of ~he intersection of Highway Number 601 and the Wayside Church Road; thence in a northwesterly direction to a point on Bethel Avenue at the intersection of Bethel Avenue and the Norfolk & Southern Railroad; thence in a northwesterly direction to a poinl on Highway number 27 1500 feet west of the intarsec~ion of Highway Number 27 and the Sam Black Road; thence in a northeasterly direction to a point on the Flowes S~oxe Road where said road Grosses the c~hem extremity of Ande~sonCreek; thence in a northeasterly direction along said Andezson Creek to a point 500 feet east of the Old Troutman Road; tkance in a northerly directioz Along a line 500 fe~t east of and parallel ~o the Old Troutman Road to the in%ersection of said road and the J.B.Roberts Road; thence the same line ex~ended in a northerly direciion to a point 500 feet west of Highway Number 601 at a point including ~he Lora V. Harley Store (Old Joyner Store); ~hence in an easterly direction to a point 500 feet east of ~he Pleasant Road and 3000 feet north of the intersection of ~he Mt. Pleasant Road and Bosl Creek; ~hence in a southerly direction along a line 500 fee% east of and parallel to the Mt. Pleasant Road to Bost Creek; thence in a southeasterly direction along Bost Czeek to the intersection of said Creek and Meadow Creek; thence in a northeasterly direction along a line through a point on the Pine Bluff Church Road including the Pine Bluff Church to ~he Cabarzus Stanly County line; thence in a southwesterly direction along the Cabarrus Stanly County line to a point on Highway number 27 at at the said county line, being ~he point of beginning. Coddle Creek; thence in a northwesterly direction along Coddle Creek to a point 3000 feet south of the in%ersection of Coddle 6Yeek and Highway Number 29; thence in a southwesterly direction along a line through a poin~ 500 feet south of the intersection of Highway Number 29 and the Morehead Road to the Cabarrus Mecklenburg County line; ~hence ina southeasterly direction along said Cabarrus-Mecklenbuxg County line to a poin~ 500 feet south of ~he Bellefont ChurchRoad; thence in an easterly directio 500 feet south of and parallel to the Bellefont Church Road to a point where said ~oad crosses Rocky River; thence in a northwesterly direction along ~ocky River and Coddle Creek to a point on Highway Number 49 at Coddle Creek, being thepoint of beginning.
