The Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners held their regular meeting on August 6, <br /> <br />19~6 at lO:O0 o'clock at the Courthouse with the following members present: <br /> Chairman: J. Lee White <br /> <br /> Commissioners: L.Bowman Barrier, P.Ernest Stallings, and ~'l.Smoot Lyles <br /> <br /> Motion by M. Smoot Lyles amd seconded by L.Bowman Barrier, that the following road <br /> <br />petitions be passed: <br /> <br /> Liberty Si. thru Goodson St. Ex~end Road to highway . <br /> <br /> No. I Township, Parrallel Drive. Take over and maintain the road <br /> <br /> No. ll Township. Pine Avenue. Scrape, gravel or as workmen find necessary. <br /> <br />~.~o. 2 No. 2 Township. Martin Lane and Groff Ave. Grade an tar aK gravel <br /> No.. 2Township - Helen Drive - Widen and fix ditches and hard surface/ <br /> Ng~~ 90 Township - Road runs from R. L. Hartsell to Cedrar Grove Chumch. Grade and tar ar. Gravel <br /> No. l0 Township - Road runs from Morrison road to dead end at H.T. Ernest Stallings that Bachman Brown be <br /> <br />appointed Dome tic Relation Court Judge until December 1st, 1956. <br /> <br /> Motion by L.Bowman Barrier, seconded by P.Ernest Stallings that R.Furman James be <br /> <br /> appointed Assistant Judge of Cabarrus County Court. <br /> <br /> There being no further business the Board adjorned. <br /> <br /> <br />
