The Board of County Commissioners, CabarrusCounty, held their regular meeting on <br /> <br />September 4, 1956 at the County Courthouse at lO:O0 A. M. with the ~ollowing members present. <br /> Chairman- J. Lee White <br /> <br /> Commissioners- L. Bowman Barrier, P.E.Stall~ngs, M. Smoot Lyles and W.Frank McCray <br /> <br /> Motion by L.Bowman Barrier, seconded by P.Ernest Stallings that the followng road <br /> <br />petitions be approved and sent to Albemarle to the State Highway and Public Works Corem: <br /> <br /> No. 4Township- Jackson Park Road. 30 ft. Road way curbed and guttered. <br /> <br /> No. llTownship- Road runs from 29 A to Old Menius place take oyez and maintain. <br /> <br /> No. 4 Township- Elwood St. Take over and maintain <br /> <br /> No. 2 Township -Andrew Avenue -Road reworked gravel and one bridge <br /> <br /> No. 4Township-Booker Street -Widen out and pipe <br /> <br /> No. 6 Township.- Cagey Barringer Mill Road - General improvement <br /> <br /> No. 6 Township - Road runs from Pahniels Ch Road to Nobletts Store - take over and maintain <br /> <br /> Motion by W.Frank McCray, Seconded by P.E.
