The Board of Cabaxrus County Commissioners met on July 24, 1958 at the Cabarrus Oounty <br /> <br />Courthouse at 10:O0 A M with the following members present: <br /> Chairman: W. Frank McCray <br /> <br /> Commissioners: W.Guy Isenhour, M.Smoot Lyles, L Bowman Ba~rier~ and P/Ernest Stallings: <br /> <br /> Motion by M.Smoot Lyles seconded by ~. Guy Isenhoux that the County Tax Rate for <br />Cabarrus County be $1.07 per hundred for the yea~ 19,58 and 1959. <br /> <br /> A special meeting of theSanitary District Board of the Royal Oaks Sanitary District was <br /> <br />held in Office 315 P~ofessional Bldg. Kannapolis, No~th Carolina on July 21, 1958, at h:O0 PS. <br /> Present: George w. Gillon, Chai~man, C.Harold Graham, Secretary and S.~. Hunsuck, Jr., members. <br /> Absent: None <br /> <br /> George W'Gillon introduced the following resolution which was read: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE REQUESTED TAX RATE TO THE BOARD OF 0OUNTY COMMISSIONE~ OF <br /> <br />CABARRUS 00UNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br /> Whereas, the Royal Oaks Sanitsmy District Board has met and, in compliance with North <br /> <br />Carolina General Statutes 130-h9, has determined the amount of funds necessary to be raised <br />by tax assessment and has determined the number of cents per one hundred dollars property <br />~aluation necessary to raise said amount; <br /> <br /> And whereas, the Sanitary District Board now desires to certify to the Board of COunty <br />Commissioners of Cabarrus County, No~th Carolina, the number of cents per one hundmed dollars <br />property valuation to be levied as a tax for the Royal Oaks Sanitary District; <br /> <br /> And whereas, the Royal Oaks Sanitary District Board has found that the said tax rate <br /> <br />for the year 1958 Should be 25 cents per one hundred dollars ~operty valuation; <br /> Now, there'fore, be it hereby resolved: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That th~ Royal Oaks Sanitary District Board, in compliance with the above <br /> <br />mentioned statute, does hereby certify to the Board of County Commissionexs of Cabarrus County, <br />North Carolina, that fo! 'the yea~ 1958 it ~equests said Board of County Commissioners to <br />introduce in its annual levy the sum of 25 cents per one hundred dollars property valuation <br />to be levied against all taxable property within the District, said funds to be collected by <br />the County Tax Collector and turned over to the Royal Oaks Sanitary District as provided in <br />General Statutes l~O-hg. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Secretary of the Sanitary Distrt~tt Board forward a certified copy <br /> <br />of this resolution to the Board of County Commissioners of Caba~rus County, No~th Carolina. <br /> Section ~. That this resolution shall take effect from the date of its passage. <br /> <br /> Upon motion of E. Harold C~aham, seconded by S.E. Hunsuck, Jr. the foregoing resolution <br /> <br />entitled :"RE~OLUTION CERTIFYING FOR THE REQUESTED TAX RATE TO THE BOA~DOF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />OF CABARRUS COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA ," was passed by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Three <br /> <br /> Noes: None.. <br /> <br /> I, C. Harold G~aham, Secretary of the Sanitary District Bosmd of Royal Oaks Sanitary <br /> <br />District, in Caba~zus County, North Carolina, do hereby certify that t he foregoing is a true <br /> <br /> <br />
