M. on Monday, December 8, 1958 withthe following <br /> <br /> members present: <br /> <br /> Chairman: W. Frank McCray <br /> <br /> Commissionexs: W.Guy Isenhoux andP.Ernest Stallings <br /> <br /> Absent: M.Smoot Lyles and L.BowmanBarrier. <br /> <br /> Oommissioner W.Frank McCray intxoduced the following resolution which was read: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION RETATING TO,HE ~ANVASSING OF THE RETURNS OF ~HE SPECIAL <br /> ELECTION HELD ON DECEMBER 6, 1958 WITHIN THE BOUNDARI~ OF THE <br /> TERRITORY ~RO~ED..TO BE ANNEXED TOTHE PARKWOOD SANITARY DISTRICT <br /> IN ~CABARRUS COUNTY ~ONOE~NING THE ANNEXATION OF SAID TERRITORY TO SAID <br /> <br /> WHE~, the Board of Commissioners for the County of CabaXrus has ~eceived from the <br /> <br /> ~egistrar and judges of election the returns of t he special election held on December 6, 1958 · <br /> <br /> within the boundaries of the following described territory: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point in the center of the Concord -Kannapolis highway, said point <br /> being 150 feet north of the northern boundary of Winecoff School Road, and running thence in <br /> two courses 150 feet from and parallel with the northern boundary of ~inecoff School Road, South <br /> 89 degrees West 900 feet, South 55 degrees West ll70 feet more or less to a point 150 feet north <br /> of the northern boundary of Winecoff School noad and 150 feet west of the western boundary of <br /> Linker Street extended;;thsnce arc, line in two courses 150 feet from and parallel with the western <br /> boundary of Linkmr Street,South 21 1/2 degrees East 550 feet, South 29 degrees East 625 feet more <br /> oz less; thence a line 150 feet from and parallel with the southern boundary of Stewart Street <br /> North 72~1/2 degrees East 860 feet to a point 150 feet from the western boundary of School Street <br /> extended; thence a line 150 feet from and parallel ~o the western boundary of School Stxeet <br /> extended South 20 degrees East 390 feet; thence North ~3 1/2 degrees East 550 feet moreor less; <br /> thence a line 250 feet from and parallel to the western boundary of the Concord-Kannapolis <br /> Highway North 15 1/2 degrees ~eSt 650 feet; thence Noxth 85 1/2 degrees East 265 feet to a point <br /> in the center of the Concozd-Kannapolis Highway; thence with the center of said Highway <br /> 14 1/2 degrees West 900 feet more or less to the point of Beginning, <br /> <br /> concerning the proposition of the annexation of said territoxy torte Parkwood S~ni~a~y District <br /> <br /> in Cabarrus County; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the ~etu~ns of said election have been canvassed by the Board of Commissioners; <br /> <br /> now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY the Board of Commissioners fox the Countycg CabaZxus: <br /> <br /> Section 1.
