497 <br /> <br />Parkwood SanitaryDistrict voted in favor of such proposition; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, if said territory should be annexed to and included within the boundaries of <br />said Pa~kwood Sanitary District, then the boundaries of said Parkwood Sanitary District will be <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> BEGINNING at a point in the center of the Concord-Kannapolis Highway, said point <br />b~ing 150 feet north of the northern boundary of Winecoff School ~oad, and runningthence in <br />two courses 150 feet from and parallel with the northern boundary of Winecoff ~chool ~oad, South <br />89 degrees WeSt 900 feet, South 55 degrees West 1170 feet more or less to a point 150 feet north <br />of the northern boundary of Winecoff School ~oad and 150 feet west of the western boundary of <br />Linker Street extended; thence a line in two courses 150 feet from and parallel with the <br />western boundary of Linker Street, South 21 1/2 degrees East 550 feet, South 29 degrees East <br />625 feet more or less; thence a line 150 feet from and parallel with t he southern boundary of <br />Stewart Street North 72 1/2 degrees East 860 feet to a point 150 feet from the western boundary <br />c~ School Street extended; thence a line in two courses 150 feet from and parallel with the <br />western boundary of SchoOl Street and said boundary extended, South 20 degrees East 760 feet, ~ <br />South 9 degrees East 536 feet tothe centerline of Oak Ridge D~ive (also called Parkwood Street); <br />taence South 6 1/4 degrees West 1300 feet more or less to a point in the centerline of Pless <br />Street 150 feet from the west boundary of School Street; thence parallel to School Street and <br />150 feet from it South 28 3/4 Degrees West 816 feet to Tally's southern boundary; thence <br />following said boundary and crossing School Street South 85 degrees East 385 feet to a point <br />150 feet east of its eastern boundary; thence parallel to it North 28 3/4 degrees East 1200 feet; <br />thence South 83 degrees East 1200 feet; thence North 82 degrees East 510 feet more ~ less to a <br />point in the eastern line of the Southern Railroad right of way the northwest corner of the <br />D~.W.L.Ezzell home lot; thence following the common lane of the Dr. W. L.Ezzell home lot and <br />that of Dr. J.W.Ezzell North 54 1/2 degrees East 450 feet to the western line of Cannon <br />Boulevard; thence following said western line South 35 1/2 Degrees East .235 feet to the <br />southern line of Country Club Road; thence following ~b e south line of this road in three <br />coumses North 29 1/2 degrees East 750 feet North 24 degzees East 500 feet and North 26 degrees <br />East 615 feet to the center of Three Mile Branch; thence following Three Mils Branch as it winds <br />in a Northwesterly direction about 1150 feet to the northern CO:heX of "The Pines" subdivision; <br />fence following the lines of this subdivision in a westerly direction along a small branch about <br />1350 feet to the eastern boundary of Cannon Boulevard; thence South 86 1/2 degrees West about <br />~0 feet to a point in the eastern boundary of Central AVenue of the line of Simmons northern <br />boundary; thence c~ossing Central Avenue, Following Simmons northern boundary and crossing the <br />Southern ~ailroad right of way South 57 degrees West 330 feet to its western boundary; thence <br />following said western boundary of the Southern Railroad in a curve to a point in said <br />western boundary 150 feet north of the northern boundary of Stewart Street e~tended; thence <br />~outh 85 1/2 degrees West about 65 feet to a point in the center of the 0oncord-Kannapolis <br />Highway; thence with the center of said highway North ih 1/2 degrees West 900 feet more or less <br />to the point of Beginning; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a joint public hearing pursuant to notice duly posted and published has been <br />held by the Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabazrus and a representative of the North <br /> <br />Carolina State Board of Health concerning the annexation of said territory; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to comply with the <br />reqmast of the petition hereinabove mentioned fo~ the annexation of said territory to said <br />Psmkwood Sanitary District and does hereby determine that the territory described in t~ third <br />preamble above and also described in said petition be annexed to said Pa~k~ood Sanitary District <br />for the purposes set forth in said petition. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of the ~a~d of Commissioners is hereby directed to certify <br />immediately a copy of thAs resolution to the State Health Director of the North Carolina State <br />Bo~axd of HeAlth and to the. Sanitary District Boamd of Parkwood Sanitary District. <br /> <br /> Commissioner M.$moot Lyles moved the passage of the foregoing resolution entitled: <br />"RESOLUTION 00NCERNING THE ~NEXATION OF ADDITIONAL TERRITORY TO IHE PARKWOOD SANITARY DISTRICT <br />IN CABARRUS COUNTY" and Commissioner W.Guy Isenhou~ seconded the motion and the sesolution was <br />passed by the followihg vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes: Commissioners W.Frank McCray, M. Smoot Lyles, P. Ernest Stallings, and W. Guy <br /> <br />Isenhoum. <br /> <br /> Noes: None <br /> <br /> <br />
