Ernest Stallings <br /> <br /> Motion by W.Guy Isenhour, seconded by M.Smoot Lyles that the boundries of Cold Water Fire <br /> Department be approved. <br /> <br /> Motion by M.Smoot Lyles seconded by L.Bo~man Barrier that Cabarrus County Fair Association be <br /> §iron privilage to have fire works , September lh-19(inclusive) 1959. <br /> <br /> Motion by L.B~an Barrier, seconded by W.C~y Isenh~ur that the following b~undries of <br /> <br /> Midland Fire Department be. approved: <br /> <br /> Beginning at Cabarrus-Stanly County line on High%ray N.C. 27; thenr, e followin§ the county line <br /> southward to ]~bky River; thence following the boundaries of Rocky River to a point ~ahere Muddy <br /> Creek enters R~¢ky River; thence in a westerly directimn to a point on Hopewell Church Road one <br /> mile north cf the Union County line; thence in a westerly direction to a point 1000 ft. north of th <br /> intersection of Brief Road,with Highway 601-south; thence with al~ imaginary line in a northwesterl <br /> direction to a point in the Brief Road .3 mile south of Wallace Read; thence westward to Clear Cree~ <br /> Church Road at its intersection with Clear Creek; thence fotlewi~§ the north branch of Clear Creek ~o the <br /> intersection of said Creek with the Morrison Road; thence following an imaginary line in a north- ~ e <br /> westerly direction to a point on Highway 27 1OO0 ft. east of the intersection of the Flowe's <br /> Store Road; thence following an imaginary line in a northeasterly direction to a point 500 ft. <br /> north of where: ~uth branch of Anders~n Crsek int;ersects with S~m Black Road; thence in a north- <br /> easterly direction to a point where the north branch of flndersonCreek intersects Bethel-Flowe's <br /> Store Road; thence easterly, intersecting Robert's Road 1.1 mile west of its intersection with <br /> Coltrane Road, continuin§ 500 ft. west of and parallel to Robert;s Road to a point 500 ft. west of <br /> Highway 601-north; thence in a northerly direction to a point 500 ft. south of %here Joy,~er Road <br /> intersects with Hi§hway 601-north; thence along an imaginary line eastward to a point on Mt. <br /> Pleasant-Midland Road 1000 ft. south of theintersection of Joyner Road with Mt. Pleasant-Midland <br /> Road thence following an imaginary line in a southerly direction to a point %here Bost Creek <br /> enters Rocky River; thence in a southerly direction following Rocky River to a point %here <br /> ~feadow Creek enters Rocky River; thence in a northerly diKection along Meadow Creek to a point <br /> 500 ft. east of where Meadow Creek intersects Pine Bluff Road; thence in a southerly direc~:i~nn <br /> to the Stanly Conty line at the point of beginning. <br /> <br /> Motion by L.~wman Barrier, Seconded by W. Guy Isenhour, that records in Tax Collector be <br /> ~uthorized to destroy all scholls back 10 years. <br /> <br /> Motion by W.Guy Isenhour seconded by P. Ernest Stallin§s that the State Highway and Public <br /> Works Comm. be requested to erect danger signs at Lake Concord and Mt. Olivet Road. <br /> <br /> Motion by W.Guy Isenhour seconded by P.Ernest Stallings that the following road petitons <br /> be ~ passed and mailed to the State Highway and Public Works Comm. in Albemarle, N.C. No. 8 Tote%ship - Long and Short Street-Maintain and Black top. <br /> No. 4 Township - Road runs from Bethpage Road North to dead end- take over and make a street <br /> No. 5 Township - Williams Road- Take over and maintain <br /> ]~.
